GILinfo exists to give every citizen clear and fair information about the people who lead them. This page explains how we work.

Our sources

Every profile lists its sources, so you can see what we cite and judge for yourself.

We rely on sources that can be checked, and we name each one.

People decide what is published

We use software tools, including AI, to help us find sources and draft text. They let us work faster and cover more leaders than we could alone.

They are a tool, not a replacement. People check every profile and decide what is published.

Keeping profiles up to date

We update profiles after major events, such as an election or a change of office.

We also review a profile when we receive a correction request.
